FREE INTRODUCTORY (BEGINNER) BALLROOM LESSON @ 3:30 pm with your paid admission. No partner necessary, all welcome to join us. Dress is casual. Location: Raleigh Elks Lodge – 5538 Leadmine Rd.
Ballroom Dancing 4:30 – 6:15 pm with DJ Wesley Boz . Waltz, Foxtrot, Hustle, Rumba, Merengue, Tango, East Coast Swing, Viennese Waltz, Country Two-Step, Cha Cha, Salsa, Night Club Two-Step, West Coast Swing and Polka.
ONE ADMISSION PRICE includes 3:30 pm Beginner Ballroom Lesson, Afternoon Ballroom dancing and the evening Swing Dance lesson and social dancing: $6 Student (14-22 yrs.), $11 General Public, $8 CDC Carolina Dance Club.
We provide a special USA Dance organization discount – $8.00 admission for USA members on this 1st Sunday afternoon ballroom dance.
After ballroom dancing come swing with us! You can participate in a FREE Introductory (Beginners) East Coast Swing Lesson at 6:15 pm and open swing dancing till 10 pm – all included with your afternoon Ballroom admission price.
EVENING SWING SCHEDULE:
FREE BEGINNER EAST COAST SWING LESSON @ 6:15 pm with paid admission. No partner necessary.
EARLY SWING SET: 7 till 8:35 pm with DJ Wesley Boz features high energy Big Band, Jump Blues, Jazz, 50’s & 60’s Swinging Rock & Roll for Lindy Hop, Balboa, Slow Blues and East Coast Swing
LATE SWING SET: 8:35 till 10 pm. This set features Top 40, Blues and R&B for the West Coast Swing dancers. A small mix of Hustle and Night Club 2-Step dance music are added in this music set.
